Lovely Argentina
Argentina is a beautiful and intense country that seduces you as soon as you step foot on its soil. A country of extreme diversity, it has harsh, dry deserts on one hand, and humid jungles on the other. Its vast natural beauty stretches from the subtropical north to the sub-Antarctic regions of beautiful Patagonia in the south. The capital Buenos Aires is a busy modern metropolis alive with street life, and with the tranquility of blooming purple jacaranda in the parks in springtime. When in the capital, head towards La Boca, the most colorful neighborhood in the city with the fun Caminito Street Museum, a pedestrian zone with an open-air museum famous for its brightly painted houses, amusing sculptures, and outdoor tango lessons.
From seductive tango dances to energetic soccer, Argentina is full of action. The country offers you natural wonders like the huge glaciers of the snow-capped Andes and the world’s largest group of waterfalls, UNESCO World Heritage Site – the breathtaking Iguazú Falls. Another tourist hub is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Patagonia’s Los Glaciares National Park. Visit the world’s southernmost city, Ushuaia on the Beagle Channel. From there, it will be worth your effort and time to go to Tierra del Fuego National Park which stretches from the Beagle Channel to the edges of Lago Kami at the southernmost point of Argentine Patagonia.
The best time to visit is springtime from October to mid-December, and autumn from April to mid-June. The currency is the Argentine Peso (ARS or $) which equals INR 1-3(fluctuates).
