Captivating Canada
Canada is the largest country in North America and the second largest in the world. It has vast areas of untouched landscape and rich natural beauty, which makes it a popular tourist destination. Canada is one of the world’s wealthiest countries. It shares the longest border in the world not patrolled by military forces, with the United States of America. Canada’s climate varies widely across its vast area, ranging from arctic weather in the north to hot summers in the southern regions. Canada is a natural wonder with sky-high mountains, glinting glaciers, spectral rainforests and remote beaches, all spread across six times zones. It is the land of polar bears, grizzly bears, whales and the moose.
The capital city Ottawa is located in southeastern Ontario. From there, you can head for the world famous Niagara Falls to witness an unstoppable flow of rushing water surging over the arcing fault in the riverbed with thunderous force. You could indulge in various activities like snowboarding Whistler’s mountains, surfing Nova Scotia’s swells, wreck diving in the turquoise waters off the Bruce Peninsula or kayaking the white-frothed South Nahanni River in the Northwest Territories. For the not so adventurous, take a stroll down Vancouver’s Stanley Park or go swimming off Prince Edward Island’s pink-sand beaches. The best time to visit is during the fall, from September to November when the weather is cool and comfortable. The currency is the Canadian Dollar (CAD or C$) which equals INR 52-55(fluctuates).
