Sensational Mexico
Mexico, in the southern portion of North America, is a country of extremes. Full of high mountains and deep canyons, with sweeping deserts and dense rain forests. A land full of adventure for all your senses, it invokes vibrancy! This beautiful country will show you steaming jungles and snow capped volcanoes; cactus-strewn deserts and palm-fringed beaches; richly sculpted stone churches of the Spanish colonial era and the great art of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. Located in the Valley of Mexico, Mexico City is the capital and the most populous city of the country. The rain forests and coastal wetlands are home to thousands of tropical plant species and elusive animals like jaguars and quetzal birds.
You could surfboard in the Pacific Ocean, snorkel to explore the beauty beneath the surface of the Caribbean Sea, or ride the whitewater of Mexico’s rivers. For hikers, there are Oaxaca’s mountain cloud forests, and the peaks of dormant volcanoes. The climate in Mexico is tropical with a rainy and dry season. The best time to visit is during the dry season between December and April, when there is virtually no rain. The currency is the Mexican Peso (MXN or Mex$) which equals INR 3-5(fluctuates).
